TELICS associates negotiate and acquire real property for Right of Way and related easements for transportation and utility construction projects. We select sites, negotiate with property owners, obtain options, secure easements, purchase and/or lease parcels of property for the placement or expansion of client facilities or public infrastructure. Select TELICS agents have completed the Federal Transit Authority Real Estate Requirements and are certified for Federal Aid Projects.

TELICS also offers Relocation Assistance as part of our comprehensive Right of Way services. Our Relocation Agents are among the best in the business. When projects result in the necessary relocation of businesses or residences, TELICS has the skill and experience required to successfully assist relocatees in acquiring properties that meet their specific needs. TELICS is capable of handling Relocation Projects of varying sizes and has completed projects with 100+ relocations.

TELICS has experience in a number of Right of Way disciplines involving various Federal, State, and Local Municipalities. We have prepared Department of Transportation Relocation Agreements for thousands of miles of Distribution Facility Upgrades and Relocations associated with highway and bridge work. The Right of Way Division has experience working in conjunction with Design Projects for TELICS clients who seek turnkey solutions. Projects for which TELICS has provided turnkey solutions include a 501 mile route to accommodate a Fiber Optic communications link for DeltaCom and Right of Way Acquisition, Appraisal, and Utility Coordination for the award winning Charlotte Outer Loop I-85/I-485 Interchange.

TELICS is prequalified to provide Right of Way Services to the City of Charlotte, North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT), Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KTC). TELICS is a team member on the Consultant Management Team for York County, South Carolina’s “Pennies for Progress” Roadway Improvements Program.

Our team has extensive experience with Right of Way Project Management and Acquisition for road widening, bridge, airport, sidewalk and greenway projects, water and sewer easements, gas pipelines, cross-county fiber routes, carrier sites and strip easements. TELICS also has strategic partnerships with a number of Right of Way consultants, appraisers, attorneys, and surveyors to meet peak demand for large projects with aggressive acquisition schedules.
